The grill design was different with three horizontal bars and four up-rights. They also had single headlights in the front fenders and the fender side emblem is one piece and it is mounted below horizontal line on the fender. Another small change was the emblem on the front of hood is longer at the top than the bottom.
The 1955 Chevrolet pickup trucks featured some of the most distinguished design in trucks up to that time. 1955 Chevy trucks used sculpted door and fender panels, a lower flatter hood design with an egg-crate styled grille.
You can tell by the look of the 1955 Chevrolet trucks that they were related to the 1955 Chevy’s passenger cars. More glass area and a wrap-around windshield in the cab gave the driver a better view of the road, and , of course, added to the stylish appearance of the 1955 Chevrolet truck.
